R. Madhavan
R. Madhavan (born June 1, 1970 as Madhavan Ranganathan) is a Filmfare
Award-winning Indian actor.Madhavan, despite coming into the film industry
after marriage, has a huge following of female fans. However, he constantly
confirms his love and passion for his wife, Sarita.His first chance in Indian
movies came in the form of Shanti Shanti Shanti, a Kannada film, in which he
acted in the second lead role to Abbas, an established actor.Alaipayuthey,
Madhavan's second Indian film became a blockbuster upon release and earned
positive reviews from critics.Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein was the first hit hindi
film.In 2006, Madhavan recorded three hits in Rang De Basanti, Thambi and
Rendu. His appearance in vital cameo role, in Rang De Basanti, was appreciated
by film critics, earning him his first major hit in Bollywood.Guru, Madhavan's
fifth film under Mani Ratnam's production, portrayed him in the role of real
life journalist, S. Gurumurthy. Guru, which was one of Bollywood's biggest
hits of 2007.Madhavan, who is a vegetarian, endoreses for the brand, PETA.
Since joining them after starring in his first film, he has appeared
voluntarily in several advertisements and released an E-Card for the brand.

Sunil Dutt
Born on 6 June 1930, Sunil Dutt grew up as Balraj Dutt in a family that had survived the Partition of
India. A student of Mumbai's Jai Hind college, he started off as radio show host and celebrity interviewer,
which led to his first encounter with the glamour world including his wife-to-be, Nargis, who was one of the
celebrities he met in the course of his work. Soon, Dutt got a chance to enter the film world, when director
Ramesh Saigal offered him the hero's role in his "Nalini Jaywant starrer Railway Platform (1955)."
"Ek Hi Raasta (1956)" marked the start of a seven-film association with B. R. Chopra. But Dutt's true breakthrough
came with Mehboob Khan's magnum opus "Mother India (1957)".Dutt's roles in women-oriented films like "Sadhna (1958),"
"Sujata (1959)" and "Main Chup Rahungi (1962)" were well-appreciated. Noted filmmakers like Bimal Roy, Hrishikesh Mukherjee
and B R Chopra dared to defy Sunil Dutt's established rebellious Birju image and cast him as a sensitive lover.
In the course of his cinematic association with B. R. Chopra, Dutt delivered three big hits in the 60s - "Gumraah (1963),
"Waqt (1965)" and "Humraaz (1967)." He also worked with South Indian.In 1981, Dutt's world was rocked when his wife Nargis died after
a protracted battle with cancer. He later joined politics and became deeply involved with social work
But the actor in Dutt continued to surface in movies with select filmmakers like J. P. Dutta and Yash Chopra. His last screen cameo
was in Rajkumar Hirani's immensely popular laugh riot "Munna Bhai MBBS", where he played on-screen father to his son Sanjay.

Amrita-Rao
Amrita was born into the Rao family on 7 June 1981 in Chitrapur.
No stranger to cameras and bright lights, she has modelled for approximately 35 advertisements. After watching her in the Perk commercial, film-maker Raj Kanwar approached her to play the lead role in "Ab Ke Baras," which was released in 2002. She is also associated with jewellery manufacturers D'Damas as their brand ambassador.

Dimple Kapadia was born on 8 June 1957.She was discovered by Raj Kapoor, who introduced her to stardom in the 1973 movie "Bobby." It was a
super hit but she left the spotlight to get married to the then reigning superstar Rajesh Khanna.However, after the breakdown of her marriage,
she returned to the film industry in 1985, with the film "Saagar," where she once again appeared opposite her Bobby co-star, Rishi Kapoor.

Amisha-Patel

Mithun Chakraborty
Mithun was born on 16 June 1950 in Calcutta, West Bengal.
He got part of his education at Scottish Church College, Calcutta, where he studied chemistry. He later graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India.
He started his film career in a Bengali film made by leading director Mrinal Sen. This talented actor and dancer shot into national prominence with "Disco Dancer" and "Dance Dance" and was at one time regarded as a rival to Amitabh Bachchan.
Mithun not only achieved commercial success but also tremendous critical acclaim. He won the National Awards thrice, for his performance in his first film "Mrigaya" as well as for Bengali films like "Tahader Katha" and Ramakrishna Paramhans."
In the mid 90s he shifted his focus from mainstream cinema. He started developing his own movies, targeted at the common man.
In his heyday, he earned a huge fan following as a 'dancing star'. He runs a parallel film industry from his South Indian abode, Ooty, is 'God' to a generation of audiences unaware of younger macho heros, owns an entire chain of hotels in Ooty and was the highest tax payer in the country for five consecutive years, from 1994 to 1999. He has done and continues to do social service all over India.
His last release was "Guru (2007)" where he again showed what a fine actor he still is.

Karishma Kapoor

During her reign, the blue-eyed beauty acted with all the top heroes of her time. Now she keeps herself busy being a wife to industrialist Sanjay Kapur and a mother to Samaira.

Aftab Shivdasani
Aftab Shivdasani was born on 25 June 1978 in Bombay.
